EnviCrimeNet 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the EXPO Milan

Fifth Annual General Meeting of the EU’s Environmental Crime Network (EnviCrimeNet) will be held on 21-22 October 2016 on EXPO Milan, hosted by Corpo Forestale dello Stato (CFS), State Forestry Corps of Italy.
The main purpose of the meeting is to get an overview of the achievements to date, with a particular focus on environmental crime as an emerging threat, EU funding and the upcoming Presidency of the Slovak republic. Delegations are invited to provide a brief update on the current issues and future plans during a tour de table.
Awareness of the occurrence and acknowledgment of the interconnection of this criminal activity throughout Europe will help increase the effectiveness of our efforts in our respective countries, and assist to the success of the EnviCrimeNet AGM in Milan, and be a lasting recognition of the theme of the EXPO; Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life.
